On the 26th day of the ongoing 78-day Yajna Anushthan at Ved Mandir, Swami Ram Swarup Ji delivered a profound discourse on the eternal relevance of Vedic mantras and the Guru-Shishya tradition. Drawing from Rigveda Mantra 1/14/2, he explained that the vast and systematic creation of the universe itself is evidence of the Supreme God’s divine power, and thus mankind should worship only the One Almighty through the eternal mantras revealed in the Vedas.

Swami Ji emphasized that seekers must approach learned Vedic Acharyas to understand the true meaning of the scriptures. He noted that the essence of Rigveda Mantra 1/14/2 resonates with Samaveda Mantra 744, underscoring the eternal and indestructible nature of all four Vedas, which he described as “self-evident authority.”

Referring to Rigveda Mantras 10/181/1 and 10/109/1, Swami Ji explained that at the dawn of creation, the knowledge of the Vedas manifested in the hearts of four Rishis by God’s divine will, making God Himself the first Guru, as affirmed in Yoga Shastra Sutra 1/26. He recounted how Rishi Brahma later acquired complete Vedic knowledge by serving those Rishis and spread wisdom through the Guru-Shishya tradition, which became the foundation of spiritual learning in Satya, Treta, and Dwapar Yugas.

Swami Ji reminded devotees that in ancient times, there were no printed books or worldly scholars, and the eternal tradition of direct learning from Gurus was the only path to spiritual upliftment. Concluding his discourse, he asserted that according to the Vedas, no path other than the Vedic way leads to true happiness and realization of the Supreme Being.
