Bahra University organized the International Convocation 2026 to honor its international students from countries including Nigeria, Cameroon, Bangladesh, Malawi, Ghana, Comoros, Thailand, and Nepal. Degrees were conferred upon graduates across disciplines such as Law, Management, Pharmacy, Hospitality & Tourism, and Computer Science & Technology.
The event was hosted by the International Students Division (ISD) of Bahra University. Distinguished guests included Sardar Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group, Prof. (Dr.) R.P. Nanta, Vice Chancellor, Mr. Vineet Kumar, Registrar, Prof. Sushil Kumar Chaudhary, Pro-Vice Chancellor, along with deans, directors, faculty members, and administrative staff.
Graduates’ achievements reflected years of rigorous study, practical training, skill development, research, and experiential learning. Beyond academics, international students embraced India’s rich culture and traditions, fostering cultural exchange and collaboration that enriched the university’s academic environment.
In his address, Sardar Gurvinder Singh Bahra congratulated the graduates, emphasizing that earning a degree is a milestone, but true success lies in applying knowledge and skills to contribute meaningfully to society and their home countries. He urged students to carry forward the values and experiences gained at Bahra University to positively impact their communities.
The convocation highlighted Bahra University’s commitment to quality education, internationalization, professional excellence, skill development, and global employability. It reinforced the institution’s role as a global academic platform where students from diverse nations learn and grow together.
