Under the 60‑day “Chitta Mukt Nurpur, Nasha Mukt Nurpur” campaign launched by Idea of Bharat Foundation, Hathidhar Panchayat marked the 15th leg of the initiative with a door‑to‑door outreach program. Local residents were engaged in dialogue to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drugs and to encourage collective participation in building a drug‑free society.

Gram Panchayat Pradhan Bhavna Mahajan, along with Kuldeep Thakur, Vicky Singh, and Harnam Singh, actively participated in the program. They stressed the need for joint efforts to guide youth towards positive activities and strengthen public awareness against substance abuse.

As part of the campaign, an awareness session was also organized at Nagrota School. Principal Ambika Devi and school teachers were present during the program, where students were urged to stay away from drugs, adopt a healthy lifestyle, and remain focused on their future.

Foundation President Rahul Sharma highlighted the crucial role of families, schools, and society in the fight against drugs. He said that timely guidance and continuous dialogue with children and youth can inspire them to resist addiction. He added that the Foundation’s mission is to strengthen grassroots dialogue at the Panchayat level and involve every section of society, turning awareness into a collective movement.

The campaign’s pledge remains clear: “Say Yes to Life, No to Drugs. Chitta Mukt Nurpur, Nasha Mukt Nurpur!”
