Dharamshala: Pawan Jaryal, a brave soldier from Shahpur in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, has made the ultimate sacrifice while fighting against Pakistan in the ongoing post-Operation Sindoor conflict.


Pawan Jaryal, a resident of the serene Shahpur area, had long aspired to serve on the border, a posting he considered his final duty as a soldier. He was posted in Ambala but later his wish was granted when he was posted to in border areas of Jammu & Kashmir, a key location during the ongoing operations.


The news of his martyrdom was confirmed by local MLA Kewal Pathania, who expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the soldier.


His dedication and valour on the battlefield led to his martyrdom in a fierce confrontation with Pakistani forces, following the strategic military operations initiated under Operation Sindoor.

The local community, along with his family, is devastated by the news of his sacrifice, but they also take pride in his courage and patriotism. MLA Kewal Pathania, in a statement, highlighted Jaryal’s unwavering commitment to the nation and expressed heartfelt condolences to the family.

“Pawan was a dedicated soldier who answered the call of duty with honor. He had requested this very posting, and he gave his life defending our borders,” said Pathania.
