Congress leader and Railway Advisory Committee member Deepak Bhardwaj met Neeti Mahajan, the newly appointed Pradhan of Nurpur, to extend his congratulations and best wishes on her new responsibility.
Bhardwaj, who is currently visiting his hometown Nurpur, paid a courtesy call on Mahajan and lauded her efforts in fulfilling her duties within just two months of assuming office. He highlighted several initiatives undertaken under her leadership, including:
- Placement of trolleys at garbage collection points for improved waste management.
- Enhanced lighting arrangements along Temple Road, benefiting both residents and devotees.
- Efforts to address the issue of stray animals, strengthen sanitation systems, and install high-mast lights in key areas.
He praised Mahajan’s proactive approach, noting that the Mahajan family has long been active in social and religious activities, organizing major events such as Janmashtami, Holi, and Dussehra, which have earned them recognition across the district and the state.
Bhardwaj emphasized that leaders like Neeti Mahajan are an asset to society, and under her stewardship, Nurpur’s development will gain new momentum.
