In recognition of his organizational commitment and dedication to student welfare, former NSUI District President Nikhil Jamwal has been elevated from the post of State General Secretary to State Vice President of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI).
Jamwal described the appointment as the result of his continuous hard work, honesty, and active contribution to student politics. Paying tribute to his inspiration, the late minister and visionary leader G.S. Bali, he said Bali’s ideology and principles will always guide him in public service.
He expressed special gratitude to Cabinet Minister R.S. Bali for his trust and guidance, and to his political mentor, HRTC Vice Chairman Ajay Verma, for valuable support and organizational experience. Jamwal also thanked his parents for their blessings, his sister Shivani Thakur for constant encouragement, and senior NSUI leaders — National President Varun Chaudhary, National Secretary and State In-charge Akash Chaudhary, and Himachal Pradesh President Abhinandan Thakur (Tony) — for entrusting him with this responsibility.
The newly appointed State Vice President pledged to work with sincerity and integrity for the welfare of students. He emphasized that strengthening the organization and amplifying the voice of student interests will remain his top priorities, ensuring access to quality education for all.
