Nagrota Surian, Kangra (Himachal Pradesh) — Goldy Koundal, a resident of Village Ban Tungli, Nagrota Surian, has brought pride to the region by successfully clearing the Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) examination in her very first attempt. Her achievement is being widely praised as a result of her hard work, dedication, and unwavering determination.
Goldy is the daughter of Sanjeevan Kumar, a retired Army personnel. Her journey, however, has not been easy. Following the demise of her mother, Late Suman, three years ago, Goldy faced a challenging phase in life. Despite emotional and personal hardships, she remained focused on her goal and continued to work tirelessly to build her future.
Known for her disciplined, responsible, and sincere nature, Goldy completed her schooling from Galaxy Public Senior Secondary School, Nagrota Surian. She went on to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Eternal University, Baru Sahib, followed by a Master’s degree in Agriculture (Biotechnology) from CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV), Palampur.
Her success story has become a source of inspiration, especially for young girls in rural areas, proving that determination and perseverance can overcome even the toughest circumstances. Locals and well-wishers have congratulated Goldy and her family, expressing confidence that she will serve the agricultural sector with the same commitment and honesty that helped her achieve this milestone.
