The “Nasha Mukt Nurpur, Chitta Mukt Nurpur” campaign reached its 12th milestone with a house-to-house awareness drive in Gaheen Lagod Panchayat, where families and community members actively engaged in open discussions on tackling drug-related challenges.

During the outreach, the focus was on understanding how families and society can collectively confront the menace of drugs. Conversations highlighted the importance of guiding youth towards sports, education, and creative activities, while encouraging open dialogue within households to strengthen awareness.

The campaign saw the participation of Gram Panchayat Pradhan Karam Singh Kama, Zila Parishad Member Anoop Rana, and former Up-Pradhan Satpal Sharma, along with local residents who emphasized the need to sustain awareness efforts against substance abuse.

Addressing the gathering, Rahul Sharma, President of Idea of Bharat Foundation, said the purpose of the door-to-door campaign is not just to deliver a message but to make people active partners in the movement. He stressed that when panchayat leaders, families, and youth stand together, a strong social environment against drugs can be built.

Rahul Sharma added that the campaign will continue to reach different panchayats, listening to people’s concerns and fostering dialogue for local-level solutions.
