Nurpur Police seize 4 tractors and 1 tipper under Mining Act

Nurpur district police have intensified their campaign against illegal mining. On the night of 19 January 2026 and during the day on 20 January 2026, police teams from Nurpur, Jawali, Rehan, and Indora police stations carried out operations against the mining mafia.
- Seized Vehicles: 4 tractors and 1 tipper
- Legal Action: All five vehicles have been challaned under the Mining Act. The cases have been forwarded to the Hon’ble Court for further proceedings against the accused.
Authorities confirmed that the anti-mining drive will continue in the future, ensuring strict action against violators.
