This year’s expedition is being organised under the guidance of YHAI national president Rajendra Arlekar and has drawn participation from more than 300 trekkers from different parts of the country. The event aims to promote adventure tourism, physical fitness and a deeper connection with the Himalayan landscape during the winter season.

On December 27, 2025, Dalhousie Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Anil Kumar Bhardwaj attended the programme as the chief guest. Addressing the participants, he spoke about Dalhousie’s geographical beauty and its rich historical significance. He later flagged off the trekking expedition team, encouraging the trekkers and wishing them a safe and successful journey.
