The district headquarters of Chamba will host the 79th District-Level Himachal Day celebrations with great enthusiasm. The event will be presided over by Rajesh Dharmani, Minister for Urban and Rural Planning, Housing, Technical Education, Vocational and Industrial Training. This information was shared today by Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal.
The program will commence at 11:00 AM on April 15 with a flag hoisting ceremony. On this occasion, contingents of Himachal Pradesh Police, Home Guards, and students from various educational institutions will present a grand march past.
Students from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Industrial Training Institute Chamba, DIET, and local schools will showcase cultural performances. In addition, officers and employees from different departments, along with representatives of various institutions and organizations who have excelled in their respective fields, will be honored by the chief guest.
The Deputy Commissioner has appealed to all residents to participate in large numbers in the district-level Himachal Day celebrations being held at the historic Chaugan ground.
