Audio clip regarding issue goes viral

Dharampur: An inquiry has been ordered into the allegations against a patwari who reportedly demanded money from a family affected by a natural disaster to process their claim for relief. An audio clip regarding this issue has gone viral in Himachal Pradesh.
Dharampur SDM Rajender Gautam, taking cognizance of the audio clip, ordered the inquiry against patwari Rajesh Vimal of Patwar circle, Biddi, sub-tehsil Tihra in Mandi district.
The inquiry has been entrusted to Dharampur tehsildar Daulat Ram Thakur. He has been directed to conduct a thorough investigation and submit his report to the SDM’s office.
