In a spirited initiative to promote environmental conservation and nurture nature, Vikasarth Vidyarthi (SFD) Nurpur District organized a plantation drive in the local panchayat area today. The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and volunteers, who pledged to safeguard the environment by planting trees.
The program was graced by Sikandar Rana as the chief guest, while SFD State Convener Pushparaj delivered the keynote address, motivating students to take active responsibility in protecting nature.
During the event, participants planted saplings with zeal and spread the message of environmental preservation. Pushparaj urged every volunteer to plant at least one tree each year and ensure its care, emphasizing that true commitment lies not only in planting but also in nurturing.
Chief Guest Sikandar Rana highlighted that environmental protection is not solely the responsibility of the government or a single organization, but a collective duty of every citizen. He reminded the gathering that trees are vital for maintaining ecological balance and form the foundation of a secure future for generations to come.
The drive saw a large turnout of students, each pledging to plant and protect a sapling. The event concluded with a collective resolution by all attendees to regularly care for the plants and inspire more people to join the mission of plantation and conservation.
