The PO Cell team of Nurpur Police has successfully arrested a Proclaimed Offender (PO), demonstrating vigilance and commitment to law enforcement.
Case Details: The accused has been identified as Pradeep Kumar alias Deepa (45 years), son of Shri Salinder Kumar, resident of Village Kulhan, Tehsil & District Kathua (Jammu & Kashmir). He was wanted in Case No. 109/10 dated 22-04-2010 registered at Police Station Indora under Sections 279, 337 IPC and 181 MV Act. As per the orders of the Hon’ble JMFC Court, Indora, he had been declared a Proclaimed Offender.
Arrest & Further Action: On June 12, 2026, the PO Cell team apprehended Pradeep Kumar from 3 Puli Chinour. His wife has been duly informed of the arrest, and the accused has been handed over to Police Station Indora for further legal proceedings.
The Nurpur Police reaffirmed its commitment to strict action against criminals and lawbreakers. The administration has appealed to the public to cooperate in maintaining law and order and to immediately report any suspicious activities to the police.
