The three-day In-House Teacher Training Programme at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Kangra, concluded successfully under the blessings of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji and the guidance of Chairman Brahmachari Girish Ji. The programme was presided over by Principal Ms. Pooja Sharma.
The training began with Guru Pooja and Transcendental Meditation (TM). On this occasion, Principal Ms. Pooja Sharma welcomed and felicitated the Resource Person, Mrs. Shilpa Sharma, Assistant Professor, B.C.A. Department, Dronacharya.
As Chief Guest and Resource Person, Mrs. Shilpa Sharma highlighted the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. She explained how AI can enhance the teaching-learning process, help teachers prepare creative materials, engage students more effectively, and optimize classroom time. Through interactive activities and practical examples, she familiarized teachers with AI’s applications in education.
Teachers actively participated in group discussions, presentations, and activities, sharing their ideas and experiences. The interactive sessions made the training engaging and meaningful.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Ms. Pooja Sharma emphasized that continuous learning and technological upgradation are essential for teachers in the present era. She clarified that AI should be seen as a supportive tool, not a substitute for teachers, and encouraged its creative use to make teaching more impactful.
Feedback collected at the end of the programme described the training as useful, informative, and practical. Teachers appreciated the opportunity to connect themes such as the New Education Policy (NEP), Value Education, Health and Wellness, Indian Knowledge Systems, Vocational Education, and Artificial Intelligence with their teaching practices.
During the concluding ceremony, certificates were presented to all participating teachers by Resource Person Mrs. Shilpa Sharma and Principal Ms. Pooja Sharma, who extended their best wishes for the teachers’ continued excellence.
The three-day In-House Teacher Training Programme ended on a positive and enriching note.
