On the birth anniversary of former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, the late Raja Virbhadra Singh, Gram Panchayat Sachui Pradhan Tanuja Thakur and her husband Sanjeev Thakur (District Congress Committee Secretary) distributed fruits, juices, and other refreshments among patients at Civil Hospital Bharmour.
On this occasion, they paid floral tributes to Raja Virbhadra Singh and recalled his unparalleled contribution to the development of Himachal Pradesh. They emphasized that during his long political career, Singh carried out numerous historic initiatives, particularly for rural and tribal areas, which will always be remembered.
Fruits were distributed to admitted patients and their attendants, along with prayers for their speedy recovery. Tanuja Thakur and Sanjeev Thakur stated that Raja Virbhadra Singh’s vision of public service and his dedication to common people remain a source of inspiration. They added that true homage to him would be to continue serving society by following his ideals.
Congress workers and local residents were also present at the program, where everyone offered heartfelt tributes on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
