With the aim of promoting greenery and raising awareness about environmental conservation, the Idea of Bharat Foundation organized a plantation program at Kot‑Palahri Panchayat, Nurpur. Various species of saplings were planted, and participants were encouraged to take responsibility for their care while pledging to protect the environment.
On the occasion, Foundation President Rahul Sharma emphasized that trees are not just a source of natural beauty but also the foundation of clean air, healthy living, and a secure future for generations to come. He urged everyone to not only plant saplings but also nurture them with dedication.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents and Panchayat representatives, who collectively pledged to make sustained efforts for environmental protection.
Prominent attendees included Panchayat Pradhan Kamlesh Kumari, Deputy Pradhan Kuldeep Singh Thakur, Sanjeev Kumar, Rajiv Sharma, Dilawar Singh, former Pradhan Lajya Devi, Pooja Devi, Prem Sharma, Sandeep Jaryal, Akash Chaudhary, along with other dignitaries and villagers.
The Idea of Bharat Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to continue organizing such awareness programs in the future, aimed at strengthening community involvement in environmental and social welfare initiatives.
