On the auspicious occasion of Tribal Pride Day and the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, the BJP Scheduled Tribe Morcha, Kangra district, organised a grand event at Om Palace, Shahpur. The program witnessed a massive gathering of tribal community members, women, youth, and local BJP workers.
🎤 Vipin Parmar’s Address
Senior BJP leader, former Speaker, former minister, and sitting MLA Vipin Singh Parmar attended as the Chief Guest, adding energy and enthusiasm to the event.
Paying tribute to Birsa Munda’s courage and struggle, Parmar said that Birsa Munda is not just a historical figure but a living inspiration of self-respect and resilience.
Referring to the BJP’s recent emphatic victory in Bihar, Parmar remarked:
“This is not just a victory of seats, but a victory of thought. Bihar has endorsed development, and the people have reaffirmed their trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. This wave of development and confidence will now take the tribal society to new heights.”
He emphasized that BJP governments have always prioritized education, self-employment, healthcare, dignity, and political empowerment of tribal communities and will continue to do so.

Kangra BJP District President Sachin Sharma also delivered an enthusiastic address, highlighting Birsa Munda’s role in awakening and empowering the tribal society. He said the BJP is committed to strengthening and organizing tribal communities, making them self-reliant. He added that Bihar’s victory proves that people stand with development, and this wave will reach Himachal too.
Sharma praised the hard work of ST Morcha workers and urged tribal youth to take more active roles in the organization.

The program paid heartfelt tribute to Shaheed Subedar Major Pawan Kumar of Shahpur, with his son being honored on stage — a moment filled with pride and emotion.
Popular singer Sunil Rana was also felicitated for his contributions.
