On October 7, Himalyan Senior Secondary School’s Kids Kingdom Pre-School Wing hosted its vibrant Kindergarten Celebration, delighting parents with a series of captivating performances by young children. The event began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and a prayer to Goddess Saraswati, led by School Director Mr. Anurag Gupta and Principal Mrs. Sapna Dogra. The children inaugurated the program with a Ganesh Vandana.
The youngest performers from Nursery-A, including Shaurya, Ayush, Kavya, Ayansh, Rakshit, Priyanshu, and others, charmed the audience with dances to “Main School Nahi Jaana” and “Hawa Hawai.” Nursery-B followed with an adorable vegetable-themed song featuring Samaya, Kabir, Shivanshi, Inaya, and their classmates.
Junior KG-A students performed “Tu Kitni Achhi Hai,” while another group presented a lively dance to “Gaddi Te Punjab.” Midway through the event, parents joined in musical chairs and antakshari games, adding to the festive spirit.
Senior KG-B students showcased their talent with “Mere Bholenath Ji,” followed by “Swagat Hai Dil Se Aapka” and “Aajkal Tere Mere Pyar Ke Charche,” which had the audience dancing along. Performances to “Main Nachdi” and “Senorita” added further sparkle to the celebration.
Judges Mrs. Anjana and Mrs. Vani Jamwal recognised outstanding talent, awarding titles such as Master Innocent to Shivansh Thakur, Miss Innocent to Aadriti Kaundal, Master Best Dancer to Meevan, Miss Best Dancer to Avanya, Master Kingdom to Lavish, and Miss Kingdom to Manya.
Concluding the event, Director Mr. Anurag Gupta encouraged parents to instill good habits and values in their children, fostering responsible future citizens. He praised the children and their teachers for the delightful presentations and wished them a bright future.
