Shahpur (Kangra – The Shahpur Assembly constituency in Kangra district witnessed a spirited #NextGenGST seminar, where former Speaker and sitting MLA Vipin Singh Parmar addressed the gathering, praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for ushering India into a new economic era.
Parmar described the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) as a historic move that is transforming India into a global economic power. He emphasized that the NextGen GST reforms—featuring rate reductions and revised tax slabs—are designed to benefit all sections of society, including the common public, traders, and the industrial sector.
“Modi government’s visionary step is bringing relief to every segment,” Parmar said, adding that the new GST framework will accelerate economic growth and open new opportunities for small businesses.
In a poetic tribute to the Prime Minister’s leadership, Parmar remarked:
“Modi ji’s vision is truly unique,
He understands the pain of the poor at every opportunity.
One nation–one tax will change the tide,
India will rise as a global guide.”
He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and affirmed that under his leadership, India is rapidly progressing toward becoming a “Vishwaguru” (global leader).
The seminar echoed with the slogan: “One Nation–One Tax, Every Home Marches Toward Growth.”
The event was attended by former minister Sarveen Chaudhary, Mandal President Ravi Dutt Sharma, Ashok Vishisht, BJP Kangra District General Secretary Devendra Kohli, and other party leaders and workers, who collectively welcomed the reforms and expressed confidence in India’s strengthening economy.
