Nine Soldiers Martyred in Colombian Army Helicopter Crash
A tragic incident occurred as a Colombian army helicopter crashed while returning after supplying troops in northern Colombia, resulting in the martyrdom of all nine soldiers on board.
The information was confirmed by the Colombian National Army.
According to army statements, the helicopter lost contact with the base, and later it was discovered that it had crashed near the Santa Rosa municipality in the Bolivar department. Colombian President Gustavo Petro expressed condolences on social media, stating that the soldiers were conducting a campaign against the Gulf Clan.
The Gulf Clan is known in Colombia for drug trafficking and as a criminal group.
