Sundernagar: In a notable blend of entrepreneurship and politics, 31-year-old businessman Amit Saini invited Gokul Butail, a young political strategist, to inaugurate the Dell Diagnostic Center here. The event not only marked a significant milestone in local healthcare but also demonstrated the power of collaboration between young leaders in business and politics.
Amit Saini, with a Master’s degree in Pharmacy and a PhD currently underway, has already established a strong business presence in Sundernagar. His ventures, including Nishams Brew House, Dell Pharmacy, and Hirdu Shopping Complex, have helped shape the local commercial landscape. The Dell Diagnostic Center is the latest in his growing portfolio, designed to bring high-quality, affordable healthcare to the region.
While, Gokul Butail is Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and a key strategist for the Congress party. With a background in aerospace engineering, Butail’s political career has been shaped by his family’s longstanding ties to the Congress. He brings a fresh perspective to the political landscape of Himachal Pradesh, known for his strategic acumen and commitment to youth-driven reforms.
“This diagnostic center is not just a business venture; it’s about ensuring that advanced healthcare is accessible to everyone in Sundernagar and the surrounding areas,” Saini remarked during the launch. “Our community deserves healthcare that’s both timely and affordable, and this facility will provide that.”
The center, equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic technology, promises to enhance healthcare services in the region, making advanced medical tests and timely diagnoses more accessible to local residents.
During his address Butail said that the diagnostic center is an exemplary demonstration of how private initiatives can complement government efforts.
“Entrepreneurs like Amit are showing us that leadership doesn’t just come from politics; it can come from the private sector too, where visionaries can create change that directly benefits the people” he added.
This event highlighted the growing need for collaboration between the public and private sectors in the region, especially in critical areas like healthcare, where both efforts are needed to meet the needs of communities.
