Himachal Pradesh’s celebrated singer Nitish Rajput has been honored with a Certificate of Appreciation by the President of India and Chairperson of the Indian Red Cross Society, Smt. Droupadi Murmu.
Rajput, known for his soulful performances, had earlier donated ₹50,000 from his live concert earnings during the Sujanpur Holi Festival (2024–25) to the Red Cross Society, Hamirpur, to support the needy. For this generous act, he was first recognized by the Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
Acknowledging his consistent and extraordinary contributions to the Red Cross Society, President Murmu has now bestowed upon him this prestigious honor, further cementing his reputation as both an artist and a humanitarian.
