Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania graced the closing ceremony of the district-level Ashadh Nag Fair held at Banikhet as the chief guest.
Extending congratulations to the organizing committee and local residents, Pathania said the Bhuru Nag Temple is a historic religious site deeply connected with public faith, and the fair carries special cultural and spiritual importance. He emphasized that Himachal Pradesh, known as the land of gods and warriors, proudly showcases its rich folk art, culture, and traditions at national and international platforms, strengthening the state’s unique identity.
He added that such events play a crucial role in promoting social harmony, brotherhood, and cultural values. On the occasion, Pathania was honored with a shawl, cap, and memento by SDM Dalhousie and Fair Committee President Anil Bhardwaj.
Earlier, the Speaker offered prayers at the Bhuru Nag Temple, seeking prosperity and well-being for the people of the state.
