NURPUR: In a major initiative aimed at empowering students, strengthening child protection, and fostering both institutional and national discipline, Noorpur Public School organized an extensive legal awareness workshop under the banner of the Safe Childhood Campaign.
The event was held under the guidance of Director Arvind Dogra and Principal Er. Anmol Dogra, with Dr. Pushp Lata, Hon’ble Civil Judge-cum-JMFC Nurpur, gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Pushp Lata emphasized the essential role of legal literacy and civic discipline in shaping responsible citizens. She highlighted that true national progress relies on youth who are fully aware of their statutory rights while remaining equally committed to their civic duties and social responsibilities.
Speaking on the leadership’s vision, Director Arvind Dogra and Principal Er. They noted that educating children about personal boundaries, legal provisions, and cyber ethics is vital to building a law-abiding, resilient generation.

Child Rights & POCSO Act: Demystifying legal protections and instilling deep respect for the rule of law.
Personal Safety & Boundaries: Educating students on personal safety and identifying good vs. bad touch to foster self-respect and mutual courtesy.
Digital Ethics & Cyber Security: Guiding young learners on responsible digital behavior, privacy protection, and online safety.
Institutional & Civic Discipline: Reaffirming character building, daily school discipline, and respect for legal frameworks as fundamental pillars for national development.
Child Helpline (1098): Informing students about emergency protocols and accessible legal assistance channels.
The interactive session saw active participation from students and staff alike. The event concluded with a vote of thanks presented by the school management, thanking Dr. Pushp Lata for her invaluable guidance and reaffirming the institution’s commitment to nurturing safe, aware, and disciplined future leaders of the nation.
