A special ceremony was organized today at Government Arya College, Nurpur under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Anil Kumar Thakur. The event was graced by former MLA of Nurpur constituency, Shri Ajay Mahajan, as the chief guest.
The program began with the traditional lighting of the lamp before Goddess Saraswati. Addressing the students, Shri Ajay Mahajan shared his thoughts on the rich history of the college and praised its present achievements. He congratulated the entire college administration, noting that under the able leadership of Dr. Anil Kumar Thakur, the institution is reaching new heights of success.
Mahajan extended special congratulations to the teaching faculty, acknowledging their dedication and guidance which has enabled students to bring laurels to both the college and Nurpur at the university level. He particularly applauded students Shamli Thakur and Arpita, saying, “This is just the beginning. Continue to pursue your academic journey with determination and keep achieving new milestones so that Nurpur remains in the spotlight.”
Expressing gratitude to the students, Mahajan said their achievements have made the entire town of Nurpur proud. He wished them a bright future and assured the principal that the college’s pending issues would be resolved at the earliest, enabling the institution to progress rapidly in the field of education.
The event was attended by members of the Parent-Teacher Association, journalists, and the entire teaching and non-teaching staff of the college.
