Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state spokesperson Sanjay Sharma launched a sharp attack on the Congress party over its recent protest at Jantar Mantar, saying that the party is desperately trying to revive its lost political relevance but will never gain public acceptance.
Sharma stated that Congress may stage as many political dramas as it wants, but the people of India and Himachal Pradesh are well aware of its dark past and anti-national truth. “Congress will never find the Sanjeevani it seeks through such theatrics,” he said.
Accusing Congress of being responsible for paper leaks and corruption in the education system, Sharma said, “If Congress had taken strong and timely measures during its rule, today’s youth would not be facing such circumstances. For decades, Congress played with the future and hard work of young people.”
He added that the youth of the country has now recognized the real face of Congress and will not be misled by its false promises. “In a democracy, the people and the youth are the ultimate judges. Congress cannot regain lost ground through opposition politics, its legacy of paper leaks, and deceptive propaganda. Today’s youth stand firmly with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, which ensures transparency and a strong future,” Sharma asserted.
He further remarked that waving flags and making baseless statements at Jantar Mantar will not revive Congress. “The public and youth have understood the reality behind their claims. Congress’s history has been one of betraying public sentiment and crushing the dreams of the youth, and that very past has now become the reason for its downfall. The people’s verdict is clear—they have chosen development, transparency, and politics in the national interest over forces that drag the country backward,” Sharma concluded.
