The Kangra Central Cooperative Bank, Masrehr branch, organized a one‑day Digital Financial Literacy Camp in Dhagwar village under the support of NABARD.
Branch Manager Amit Kumar educated local residents about various government and bank‑run schemes aimed at promoting financial inclusion. Participants were informed in detail about the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, and the Jan Dhan Account Scheme.
During the session, villagers were advised not to share their ATM PINs, OTPs, or banking details with anyone to ensure financial safety. The program concluded with an appeal to all villagers to connect with the bank and take full advantage of these beneficial schemes.
