The Himachal Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has constituted two state-level committees — a Charge Sheet Committee and a Public Movement Committee — aimed at exposing the alleged anti-people policies, broken promises, corruption, and administrative failures of the ruling Congress government.

State BJP President Dr. Rajeev Bindal said the Congress government has betrayed public trust during its three-and-a-half-year tenure, halting development and pushing the state into economic and administrative crisis. “The Congress government will be surrounded and its fortifications will be dismantled,” he asserted, adding that the BJP will reach every village and household to highlight the government’s failures and launch a strong public movement on issues affecting Himachal’s interests.

The Charge Sheet Committee, tasked with preparing a detailed document on the government’s shortcomings, includes Dr. Rajeev Bindal, Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, MP and former Union Minister Anurag Thakur, Rajya Sabha MPs Prof. Sikander Kumar and Harsh Mahajan, MLAs Satpal Singh Satti, Randhir Sharma, Vikram Thakur, Sudhir Sharma, Balbir Verma, Trilok Jamwal, and former MLA Rajendra Rana, along with BJP General Secretary Payal Vaidya.

The Public Movement Committee, responsible for planning statewide awareness drives, protests, and outreach campaigns, comprises Dr. Bindal, Jai Ram Thakur, MPs Suresh Kashyap, Dr. Rajeev Bhardwaj, Kangana Ranaut, MLAs Vipin Singh Parmar, Pawan Kajal, Vinod Kumar, Rakesh Jamwal, and D.S. Thakur, along with senior leaders Govind Singh Thakur, Dr. Rajeev Saizal, Bihari Lal Sharma, and Rashmidhar Sood.

Dr. Bindal emphasized that the BJP’s campaign is not merely political but a mass movement to protect Himachal’s interests and restore public faith. The official notification regarding the formation of both committees was issued by State Office Secretary Pramod Kumar.
