Himachal Pradesh Education Minister Rohit Thakur today inaugurated an additional school building constructed at a cost of ₹44 lakh at PM Shri Government Senior Secondary Girls School, Chamba.
During the visit, the minister inspected various facilities provided to students and interacted with teachers, students, and local residents. He emphasized that the success of departmental policies depends on the active role of teachers, whose dedication and sincerity ensure the effective implementation of initiatives such as Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding Schools, CBSE affiliation of government schools, Atal Adarsh Schools, PM Shri, and CM Shri schemes.

Following the inauguration, Rohit Thakur also visited Government Senior Secondary School, Karyan and issued necessary directions to departmental officials.
MLA Neeraj Nayyar welcomed the minister and expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for prioritizing the overall development of Chamba constituency. He highlighted ongoing developmental projects and efforts to strengthen education quality in the region.
