NHPC Limited proudly announces that the Seva-II Power Station achieved a record single-day electricity generation of 3.25 million units (MU) on April 10, 2026. This marks the highest daily output since the station’s commissioning in July 2010, underscoring its sustained operational excellence and vital contribution to both regional and national grids.
This milestone reflects optimized reservoir management, high plant availability, and the dedication of operations and maintenance teams. It also highlights NHPC’s continued focus on reliable hydropower generation as a clean, renewable energy source supporting energy security and peak demand management.
