Chaudhary Narendra Nishu Mogra, Chairman of the District APMC and State Congress OBC Department, laid the foundation stone for the new exit road at Pasu Vegetable Market. The road, costing ₹31 lakh, will ease traffic flow and provide farmers with better access to the mandi. Former Mayor of Dharamshala, Devendra Jaggi, was also present at the ceremony.

Mogra highlighted that since the Pasu Vegetable Market began operations, the APMC has been generating significant revenue, while farmers have benefited from fair prices without having to travel far. Villages like Chaitdu, Dhagwar, and Manedh, known for high vegetable production, save both time and money by selling at Pasu mandi. He noted that the absence of an exit gate had caused difficulties, which will now be resolved with the new road.

On national issues, Mogra strongly condemned the recent lathi charge and use of tear gas on students at Jantar Mantar, calling it a “shameful and unfortunate incident.” He warned that the BJP would face consequences for suppressing youth voices. He added that democracy requires listening to young people’s demands seriously, not silencing them with force.

Mogra further said that while the BJP government came to power in the name of Lord Ram, it now faces public anger over the alleged donation scam. He emphasized that the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led Congress government in Himachal Pradesh is working to provide employment opportunities for the youth.
