Roses Public School, Sulyali conducted a special awareness activity focused on “Junk Food” and “Good Touch–Bad Touch” to promote health, safety, and emotional guidance among its students. The initiative aimed to educate children about healthy eating habits and personal safety through interactive and creative sessions.
Under the supervision of Vice Principal Mrs. Babita Sauguni, the program was carried out across various classes with active participation from teachers Santosh, Reena, Renuka, Karish, Nancy, Manju, Sapna, Kajal, Kiran, Jyoti, and Amandeep, who played a vital role in organizing and guiding the activities.
In the Junk Food Awareness segment, students were shown a creative video demonstration resembling an “ultrasound prank,” illustrating how excessive junk food consumption can lead to stomach problems and worms. The engaging presentation helped children understand the importance of healthy eating, inspiring them to pledge to avoid junk food in the future.
The Good Touch–Bad Touch activity featured nursery, junior KG, and senior KG students performing an action song that taught them about safe and unsafe physical contact. Under the teachers’ direction, children learned that their body belongs to them and that they must say “No” to any uncomfortable touch, maintain distance, and immediately inform parents or teachers.
The event proved both educational and entertaining, instilling vital lessons on health and safety. At the conclusion, Principal Mr. Sanjay Sharma Sauguni and Vice Principal Mrs. Babita Sauguni appreciated the efforts of all teachers and encouraged them to continue organizing such awareness programs for the holistic development of students.
