The under‑19 girls of Government Senior Secondary School Chauri have brought laurels to their school and region with an outstanding performance at the district‑level Yoga and Wrestling competitions held at Amroh.
The team clinched a total of 3 Gold, 2 Silver, and 1 Bronze medal. In Yoga, Palak and Vanshika secured Gold, while Hina and Shikha won Silver. In Wrestling, Amrita bagged Gold and Payal earned Bronze.
On returning to school, the victorious athletes and their coach (DPE) Sanjeev Kumar received a grand welcome with garlands and applause. Principal Sarita Dubey congratulated the winners and their coach, calling the achievement an inspiration for other students. She assured continued support for future sporting endeavors.
