Shahpur (Ladwara): As part of Ved Prachar Saptah, DAV Public School, Gohju organized a meaningful Tree Plantation Drive near Ladwara along the NHAI roadside, planting 100 saplings to promote a greener and healthier environment.
The saplings included Myrobalan (Harad), Indian Gooseberry (Amla), Mountain Ebony (Kachnar), and Dalbergia Sissoo (Shisham), symbolizing the school’s commitment to environmental responsibility and Vedic values.
The school expressed sincere gratitude to the Forest Department, Shahpur, for providing the saplings, with special thanks to Deputy Ranger Mr. Sharad Mehta for his valuable support. Appreciation was also extended to Mr. Dev Raj Verma, DGM, Bharat Construction (NHAI), his team, and dedicated workers for their cooperation in making the initiative successful.
Principal Mr. Vishal Katoch thanked all participants for their enthusiastic involvement and felicitated Mr. Dev Raj Verma in recognition of his contribution. The active participation of students and teachers reflected the spirit of Seva, environmental stewardship, and Vedic values.
