Nearly 500 outstanding Class X and XII students from various schools of the Nurpur area, who secured 85% and above in their board examinations, were felicitated at a grand function held at Jyoti Palace, Nurpur.
The awardees, representing both government and private institutions, were accompanied by proud parents and teachers. Hon’ble MLA Nurpur, Sh. Ranbir Singh Nikka ji, personally presented the awards, lauding the students for their perseverance and academic excellence.
The initiative was supported by Minerva Study Circle, Ghumarwain and Dharamshala, with associate partners including HIET Group of Institutions, P3Y, Dronacharya, and Digiperform.
Digiperform MD Sunny Sharma, in his special address, enlightened the students on the growing need for Artificial Intelligence in education. He emphasized that AI is not a replacement for human intelligence but a powerful tool to enhance learning, creativity, and problem-solving. “The future belongs to those who adapt to technology with wisdom and responsibility. Education must evolve to prepare students for this digital era,” he said, urging the youth to embrace innovation while staying rooted in values.
Sunny Sharma also extended heartfelt thanks to The Newz Radar for conceptualising the Shining Star Awards as a movement dedicated to uplifting and recognising young achievers across Himachal Pradesh.
Conceptualised by The Newz Radar, Himachal Pradesh’s leading English digital news platform, the Shining Star Awards 4.0 is more than an award ceremony—it is a mission to celebrate perseverance, hard work, and academic brilliance among Himachali youth, while fostering student well-being beyond academics.
Carrying forward the successful legacy of its 2023, 2024, and 2025 editions, the awards have already set benchmarks in Palampur, Dharamshala, Chamba, and now Nurpur. The Shining Star Awards 4.0 will soon travel to other districts across Himachal Pradesh, continuing its mission of recognition and encouragement.
