Serving Humanity in the Summer Heat

In the midst of the scorching summer, a refreshing sweet water stall (Chhabil) was organized today on Jamanabad Road, Ichhi (Gaggal, Kangra) for the convenience of passersby.
The initiative saw active participation from the youth, women, and children of Ichhi village, who contributed wholeheartedly to make the service successful. Travelers, drivers, and laborers—troubled by the heat—were offered chilled sweet water, bringing them much-needed relief.
Women played a key role in arranging and distributing water, ensuring smooth service throughout the day. Among the dedicated volunteers were Abhishek, Vishal Chaudhary, Mittu, Sagun Kumar, Rita Devi, Sumna Devi, Samasya Devi, Sakshi, Komal, Anil Lukku, Renu Devi, Sushma, Sangeeta, Kamla, Jyoti Devi, Bandana, Anita Devi, Suraj, Priya, Isha, Ranjoo, Sanju, Sandeep, Amandeep, Kartik, Takshu, Varinder, Vishal (Sanju) and many others.
The sevadars emphasized:
“Offering water to the thirsty in summer is the greatest act of service. We will continue to organize such Chhabeels from time to time.”
Grateful passersby expressed heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers for their selfless service.
