Second Batch of Census 2027 Training Begins in Bharmour

The second batch of training for Census 2027 Phase I commenced today at Government College Bharmour under the chairmanship of Tehsildar Bharmour Tej Ram Bhardwaj.

The three-day program will train supervisors and enumerators for the upcoming house listing exercise. Master trainers Dr. Rajinder Singh (Assistant Professor, History) and Vishal Ahir (Assistant Professor, Economics) are leading the sessions, ensuring participants are well-prepared for accurate data collection.

This phase focuses on house listing and housing census, requiring answers to 34 specific questions during enumeration. The official process will run from June 16 to July 15, 2026, while citizens have the option of self-enumeration via the online portal from June 1 to June 15, 2026.

The training aims to equip enumerators with practical knowledge so they can conduct the census smoothly and effectively in the field.
