The District Youth Congress Kangra organized a powerful torch rally in Jawali Assembly constituency to protest alleged irregularities and paper leak issues in the NEET examination. As part of the demonstration, protestors also burnt an effigy of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Youth Congress leaders stated that repeated flaws in the examination system have shaken the trust of lakhs of students and their parents. They demanded the central government ensure complete transparency in the exam process, take strict action against the guilty, and safeguard the interests of students.
Addressing the rally, District Youth Congress President Sunil Kumar “Vikku” Bhardwaj emphasized that the government must take concrete steps to reform the examination system so that students receive fair and transparent opportunities.
The protestors raised strong slogans calling for exam reforms, accountability, and protection of students’ futures. Youth Congress leaders warned that if student demands are ignored, the movement will be intensified further.
Key leaders present included National Secretary Jyotish H.M., State Vice President Chandramani Kuleti, Assembly President Satish Mithu, Ravi Kumar, Nikhil Gautam, Abhishek Narotra, Gurvinder Singh, Surender Kumar, along with numerous Youth Congress officials and workers.
