A meeting was convened to review the arrangements for the upcoming Manimahesh Yatra, ensuring the comfort and safety of pilgrims. The meeting was chaired by Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Bharmaur, Vikas Sharma, who directed officials to strengthen facilities along the yatra route and improve safety and sanitation measures.
ADM Sharma instructed the formation of a special team to explore the possibility of developing an alternative route from Hadsar to Yamkund. The team will identify and assess the feasibility of the proposed route to enhance convenience and safety for pilgrims in future editions of the yatra.
He also directed officials to install wooden railings at sensitive points along the Hadsar–Manimahesh trekking path to ensure safe movement of devotees. Necessary safety arrangements, he said, must be completed on a priority basis.
Additionally, ADM Sharma emphasized improving sanitation facilities by increasing the capacity of toilets and constructing additional pits along the route. He urged departments to work in coordination to maintain cleanliness and provide essential amenities for pilgrims.
The meeting concluded with a call for collective efforts to ensure a smooth, safe, and well-managed pilgrimage experience for all devotees.
