Bharmaur ADM Vikas Sharma has announced that the Green Tax will be implemented in the region starting July 1, 2026. He urged vehicle owners and taxi operators to complete the necessary formalities in advance to avoid inconvenience.
š Exemption Process for Local Residents:
- Local residents whose vehicles are registered in other states or RTOs can apply for a pass (exemption certificate) at the SDM (Na.) office, Bharmaur.
- Required proof of residence includes any one of the following:
- Aadhaar card (with local address)
- Ration card
- Driving license
- Land records (Jamabandi/Intkal)
- Local residence certificate issued by Panchayat/Revenue Department
- Any other valid document confirming local residency
š¢ Exemption for Employees: Government, semi-government, board, corporation, bank, educational institutions, and private sector employees working in Bharmaur, whose vehicles are registered outside Himachal, can also obtain passes. They must present a valid ID card or service certificate issued by their department/office.
š ADMās Appeal: All eligible vehicle owners and taxi operators are requested to submit applications with required documents at the SDM office, Bharmaur, well in time to ensure smooth implementation and avoid future inconvenience.
