Dharamshala
The Bharatiya Janata Party has registered a decisive victory in the Dharamshala Municipal Corporation elections, winning 11 out of 17 seats. Congress managed to secure only 5 seats, while 1 seat went to an Independent candidate.
Local MLA Sudhir Sharma hailed the result as a clear rejection of the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led Congress government’s “anti-people policies” and a strong endorsement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development model and welfare schemes.
Sharma emphasized that the people of Dharamshala have voted for development, good governance, and public welfare, reaffirming their trust in BJP’s leadership. He expressed gratitude to the victorious candidates, party workers, and the electorate, promising to accelerate Dharamshala’s growth under BJP’s stewardship.
