On the auspicious occasion of the reopening of the ancient and historic Kartik Swami Temple at Kugti, the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC), Chamba Depot, has introduced special bus services to facilitate devotees. Meanwhile, the Bharmour administration has made comprehensive arrangements for traffic management, parking, drinking water, and other essential facilities to ensure a smooth and comfortable pilgrimage experience.
Additional District Magistrate Bharmour, Vikas Sharma, informed that along with regular bus services between Bharmaur and Kugti, special buses will operate on April 13 and 14 to accommodate the increased number of devotees.
Regular Bus Service (Bharmaur–Kugti):
- 10:20 AM departure from Bharoaur, arrival at Kugti 11:30 AM
- 12:00 PM return from Kugti, arrival at Bharmour 1:00 PM
- 1:30 PM departure from Bharmour, arrival at Kugti 2:30 PM
- 3:30 PM return from Kugti, arrival at Bharmour 5:20 PM
- 4:20 PM departure from Bharmour, arrival at Kugti 6:20 PM
- Night halt at Kugti, return next morning at 8:30 AM
Special Bus Service – April 13:
- 9:00 AM departure from Bharmour, 11:00 AM return from Kugti
- 12:00 PM departure from Bharmour, 2:00 PM return from Kugti
- 3:30 PM departure from Bharmour, 5:00 PM return from Kugti
Special Bus Service – April 14:
- 6:00 AM & 7:30 AM departures from Bharmour
- 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM returns from Kugti
- 3:00 PM departure from Bharmour, 4:30 PM return from Kugti
The administration has assured that additional buses will be arranged if required, depending on the number of devotees. Authorities have also appealed to pilgrims to adhere to the scheduled timings and follow the issued guidelines to ensure a safe and hassle-free journey.
