Bharmour
On the auspicious occasion of the reopening of the ancient and historic Kartik Swami Temple at Kugti, the Chaurasi Vyapar Mandal, Bharmour, has issued a special appeal to all devotees to uphold cleanliness and sanctity during the pilgrimage.
The Mandal urged devotees not to throw waste such as cold drink bottles, plastic cups, plates, snack packets, and other litter in the temple premises or along the pathways. Such practices, they emphasized, not only harm the natural beauty of the region but also diminish the sacredness of the religious site.
Devotees have been requested to dispose of waste only at designated spots or carry it back for safe disposal. To reinforce this message, the Mandal will also organize a cleanliness drive with the participation of local residents and volunteers. Awareness campaigns will be conducted along the routes to encourage pilgrims to maintain a clean environment throughout the journey.
The Chaurasi Vyapar Mandal further appealed for collective cooperation, stressing that Bharmour is not only a place of immense natural significance but also a center of deep religious faith. Preserving its purity and cleanliness, they said, is a shared responsibility of all.
