The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board has taken a tough stance to ensure transparency and integrity in annual examinations. Board Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma has made it clear that conducting exams in a fair, cheat-free environment is the board’s top priority. To achieve this, exam centers are under round-the-clock surveillance.

Dr. Sharma issued a stern warning that any irregularities or violations during exams will not be tolerated, and strict legal action will be taken against guilty individuals or centers. To involve parents and teachers in this campaign, the board has set up a special system. Anyone who suspects malpractice at an exam center can directly contact the board’s control room via phone numbers 01892-242141, 01892-242142, and 01892-242209, or send evidence to the chairman’s official email: hpbosechairman@gmail.com. Complaints will be acted upon immediately.

For smooth exam operations, the board has also coordinated with local administration. In case of emergencies or misconduct, information can be reported to Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) and Deputy Directors of Education, enabling timely intervention with police and administrative support. This three-tier monitoring system is expected to effectively curb exam malpractices.

Students too have been given a voice. If any examinee feels that unfair advantages are being given or rules ignored inside the exam hall, they can fearlessly report it to the board. Dr. Sharma emphasized that the ultimate goal is to provide equal opportunity to every deserving student, and anyone disrupting this process will face strict consequences.
