Winter schools across the tribal region of Bharmour reopened on February 12, with annual examinations scheduled to begin in March. In this context, Acting Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Bharmour, Vikas Sharma, carried out a surprise inspection at Government Senior Secondary School, Bharmour, on February 16.
During the visit, he observed the morning prayer assembly, classrooms, and laboratories, with a special focus on health care facilities. He also interacted with students on topics related to health and science, urging them to work hard in preparation for the upcoming annual exams. Sharma emphasized that surprise inspections may also be conducted in schools located in remote areas of the tribal belt to ensure quality education.
He assured that issues faced by schools in the region would be addressed in the interest of students. He further stated that arrangements for electricity, water, and road connectivity affected by snowfall would be restored promptly.
On the occasion of Maha Shivratri, Sharma appreciated the strong administrative arrangements made in Bharmour. He added that before the opening of the Kartik Swami temple and the upcoming Manimahesh Yatra, the administration would ensure all facilities are improved so that devotees of Lord Shiva and Kartik Swami do not face any inconvenience during the world-renowned pilgrimage.
