The Under-14 Football District Championship, held from 9–11 September 2026 in Paragpur, witnessed a spirited performance by the team of Rose Public School (RPS) Sulyali, who clinched the Runner-Up Trophy after a thrilling final.
🔹 Dominant Journey to the Finals
- In the quarterfinals, RPS crushed G.A.V. Kangra with a resounding 5–0 victory.
- The semifinal clash saw RPS outplay hosts G.S.S.S. Paragpur with a solid 2–0 win, securing their place in the grand finale.
🔹 Heart-Stopping Final The final against Sacred Soul was a nail-biter. After a goalless draw in regulation time (0–0), the match was decided via penalty shoot-out, where RPS narrowly lost 4–3, finishing as runners-up.
🔹 Star Performances
- Naitik led the attack with exceptional skill.
- In defense, Shivraj, Pratham, and Samar Sohal stood firm like a wall, thwarting every opposition move.
- Other players including Namish Chandel, Samar, Jatin, Shivansh, Saksham, Saksham Thakur, Pankaj, Daksh, Vihaan, Piyush, Viraj, Suryavansh Thakur, Aditya, and Goraksh showcased commendable talent throughout the tournament.
