A grand religious ceremony was organised today in Bhatiyat, Chamba district, to mark the third anniversary of Lord Ram’s consecration and idol installation at Ayodhya. The event took place at the Sannyas Ashram of Swami Rajeshwaranand Bharati Ji and Swami Harigiri Ji Maharaj in Kakira, under the leadership of Naveen Gurung.

The people of Bakloh, along with the local women’s groups, participated enthusiastically in the celebrations. The program began at 10 a.m. with a traditional puja performed by Pandit Revadhar. From 10 a.m. to 12 noon, the women’s mandal filled the atmosphere with devotion through soulful bhajans and kirtans.

Following this, Pandit Revadhar and the devotees performed the aarti, after which prasad was distributed among all attendees. Naveen Gurung then led the ritual of worshipping young girls (kanya pujan) and priests, who were later served a ceremonial meal.

The celebrations concluded with a grand community feast (bhandara), where thousands of devotees enjoyed the offerings and received blessings of Lord Ram before returning to their homes.
