Three-Day Anti-Drug Campaign in Dharamshala Concludes with Friendly Cricket Match

Dharamshala witnessed the successful conclusion of a three-day Anti-Drug Campaign, organised under the leadership of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Kangra Dharamshala, in collaboration with the District Bar Association, Dharamshala. The campaign ended with a friendly cricket match held at the HPCA Cricket Stadium, Dharamshala.

The closing ceremony was presided over by Hon’ble District and Sessions Judge, Kangra Dharamshala, Shri Chirag Bhanu Singh, who expressed deep concern over the rising menace of drug abuse among youth. In his address, he emphasized the urgent need for collective social efforts against substance abuse and highlighted the crucial role of legal awareness, education, and community participation in building a drug-free society.

Members of the District Bar Association and Rotary Club Dharamshala City also participated.

Throughout the three-day campaign, legal professionals, students, and the general public actively engaged in awareness programs, dialogues, and activities aimed at educating society about the legal, social, and health consequences of drug abuse.

All dignitaries collectively reaffirmed their commitment to continue such awareness initiatives in the future. They urged citizens, especially the youth, to stay away from drugs and contribute to building a healthy and responsible society.

The campaign concluded with a strong message of vigilance, responsibility, and cooperation in the fight against substance abuse.
