The Himachal Pradesh Government has issued orders promoting 267 lecturers across the state to the post of Principal in the Education Department.
As per the official list, three lecturers from Bharmour—Reval Jarial, Mahender Singh Thakur, and Aruna—have also been appointed as Principals.
According to the government directive, the promoted lecturers will continue serving in their current schools until March 31, 2026, after which they will be granted station benefits as per rules.
Teachers have welcomed the decision, calling it a commendable step in the interest of students. Sharing the information, Krishan Pakhretia, President of the Himachal Pradesh Lecturer Association, Bharmour unit, said the promotions would strengthen academic leadership in schools.
